Graphic Design
In the Fall of 2025, I enrolled in the visual design class at the Newhouse School and used the semester to practice and improve upon my skills with Adobe programs and learn about Figma. The featured materials were developed for educational purposes, and the following information is not intended to be factual. Each document and piece of content is a part of the work I constructed for my classes .
Scroll Story
This scroll story was an exercise assigned by the professor to allow everyone to practice their skills and learn from their mistakes in a controlled environment. The topic of the scroll story was on the history of Dungeons & Dragons, and its recent rise in popularity thanks in part to certain creators.
This image is interactive! Place you mouse over the computer screen and scroll up or down to see the full story! Click the arrows in the top right corner for a full screen view of the scroll story. To leave full screen view click the arrows again.
Also, the colored rectangles and the blue play buttons are also interactive. Click on the rectangles for more information and the play buttons to play the featured videos.
Social Media Social Media Carousel
This Social Media Carousel was an exercise assigned by the professor to allow everyone to practice their skills and learn from their mistakes in a controlled environment.
Featured below are the slides used in the carousel that I created. Each were created using Adobe Photoshop and the information presented was pulled from research that I conducted for the project. The topic of the slides is on why people should get involved with the table-top role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons.
Social Media Carousel In-Action Example
This exercise allowed for the class, including myself, to practice thinking out and constructing carousels for social media. The image, although small, is meant to highlight how the slides above would appear within a story that could be featured on a social media page, more specifically Instagram.
Photoshop in Motion
The video below is an animated version of the social media carousel sides which are featured in the above sections. This was included to demonstrate the skill that was learned in order to put animation to an image created in adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. The slide that was animated was created in Adobe Photoshop.
